Vuse, previously recognised as Vype, are a brand from the USA that for many years now has heavily focused on designing vape kits and accessories such as pods that are geared towards people new to vaping.
More recently, we have seen the upgrade of the classic Vuse ePod 2 to the ergonomic Vuse Pro. The Vuse Go Reload 1000 and Vuse Go Reload 1000 pen follow that model of slim, compact, lightweight and user-friendly shape that’s perfect for carrying around and easily vaping when needed.
Like all previous Vuse devices, the Vuse Go Reload 1000 operates with prefilled pods of vape juice and preinstalled vape coils. They slot into place securely and provide a smooth mouth-to-lung (MTL) throat hit and minimal cloud production.
How to Use the Vuse Go Reload 1000 Vape Kit: Simple Setup Guide
- Before using the device, it needs to be charged. Plug in using the provided type-c charging cable. The LED indicator will flash five times to show a low battery, 10 when completely empty, and three times when locked. It also flashes three times when the device automatically locks after 10 minutes of no use.
- Once you have charged the device, attach the pod that comes with the device to the top of the battery.
- Click the button on the side of the device three times to unlock the Vuse Go Reload 1000. Press three times more to lock when you need to (for example when in your pocket).
- Puff on the mouthpiece to activate the device.
How Does it Vape?
The vapour production is as expected. Smooth on the inhale and exhale thanks to the nic salt inside each prefilled pod. With the Vuse Extra Intense prefilled pods that you can purchase to add to the device, (which are also cross-compatible with all other Vuse kits), there are lots of flavours available. The flavourful isn’t as powerful as the name suggests, but flavours such as berry watermelon, spearmint ice or creamy tobacco offer an intriguing variety to choose from.
As you would expect from a low fixed wattage and relatively low battery device (530mAh capacity), the cloud is a discreet amount and similar to the puff you get from a cigarette. Vaping with the same MTL style, it’s the perfect transitional device.
The new ceramic heating technology of the coils ensures a consistently good flavour and is expected to last up to 1000 puffs per pod, which is great value considering a pack of two is just under £7. Considering a pack of cigarettes containing 20 is roughly 600 puffs, it’s easy to understand why Vuse is a popular choice with beginner vapers and experienced alike.
While it’s a reliable and lightweight device, the device is predominantly aimed at MTL vaping. Don’t expect a direct lung vape with lots of clouds or even a restrictive direct lung vape with the Vuse Go Reload 1000.

The Vuse Go Reload 1000 considering the price point is a welcome pod kit addition to any collection, but is primarily created with smokers and those that need to move on from disposables should a ban in the UK take place.
Because it comes with a prefilled pod already and is so easy to set up and vape, it’s worth a punt even as a secondary device. Although there are a few negatives considering its lack of power and battery capacity, we would still recommend it as the flavour, user-friendly nature and simplicity make this a worthwhile and affordable option.
