Innokin Arcfire Pod Kit Quick Summary

Advantages

  • Charges to 75% in 30 minutes
  • Long-lasting leakproof pods
  • Stylish design with useful on/off button
  • Decent sized battery
  • Auto-draw and ergonomic shape

Disadvantages

  • Non-adjustable airflow
  • Fixed wattage

How is the Innokin Arcfire Unique Compared to Other Devices?

So here we have a new pod kit from renowned brand  Innokin, who are recognised for the user-friendly yet infrequent devices they release (which is not always a bad thing). The latest model – Innokin Arcfire – which sounds like a galactic spaceship, is easy on the eye, not too difficult to use (which means it suits all levels of knowledge) and reliable.

In the past, Innokin has produced similar compact kits of convenience such as the Innokin Klypse and Innokin Sceptre 1 & 2, which all delivered great results. Plus, you had slightly bulkier devices with larger batteries and specifications such as the Innokin Endura T22 Pro and the Innokin Z60, which also caught the eye.

But in terms of practicality, simplicity for new vapers and elegant design, the Innokin Arcfire may be the best  MTL pod kit yet.

How Does the Arcfire Vape?

With the kit, you get one pod which is handy and great value for the affordable amount that it costs to purchase. Truth be told, there are only two options when vaping with the Arcfire, either a very respectable mouth-to-lung (MTL) vape or a restrictive direct lung vape at a push. There are two coils to pick from, which are the 1.2 Ohm pod with a pre-installed coil and a 0.8 Ohm (RDL), which is sold separately.

The 1.2 Ohm pod in our opinion produces a fantastic warm and smooth vapour which is not too tight and not loose either, unlike some modern-day MTL vape kits. All in all, it vapes great and consistently delivers excellent flavour which is long-lasting thanks to the reliability of the coil and pod design.

Functionality and How to Use the Device

Like with all Innokin devices, the Arcfire is designed with beginners in mind but also versatile and cool enough that anybody looking to quit smoking or reduce their nicotine habit would get on well with the Arcfire. It’s so simple to operate with a coil already inside and the rubber plug action from the side fill pod meaning you just pull that away and stick the e-liquid dropper inside to replenish your e-liquid levels.

With this device, it’s all about offering a more affordable option than a  disposable and in fact offers an MTL kit that’s even better for vape juice flavours. But better yet, you can charge up this device with the type-c slot at the bottom of the device and re-use time after time.

Best of all, as you can see from the pictures and our video review, there are no buttons to press other than the on/off switch. It’s auto-draw for the ultimate convenience and to help any smoker switch with ease.

The wattage and airflow are fixed too, so there is nothing to worry about, but for more advanced vapers they may want something with more customisable options. Therefore, it really depends on what you’re after, but in terms of simplicity as a back-to-basics device, the Arcfire should be high on your list.

Appearance Breakdown

It’s not just smooth in vapour but also smooth to hold and grip in your hand as your trusty cessation device. The Innokin Arcfire is understated elegance personified. There are a few different options to choose from in terms of colour themes, from two-tone ‘green forest’ to ‘ocean horizon’.

Each device has a fairly beefy pod, which as we stated earlier is side-fill with big enough plugs to fit any e-liquid bottle. The shape is cylindrical and more than comfortable to vape as often as needed, while it’s small and lightweight enough to carry with ease.

Granted, it’s not as flashy as some vape mods with the OLED displays or offers any gimmick features to stand out in a crowd, but Innokin is not known for that as a brand. They have been known for years in the market as offering the best practical design, features and performance to delight their customers, and the Innokin Arcfire is another addition to the brand that showcases this quality.

Any Disadvantages?

  • Lack of customisable features with no airflow to adjust or wattage to alter may put off some vapers further down the line
  • For beginners especially, two pods per kit would be useful in case there are any issues (sadly only one), but they’re set at an affordable price to always have a spare for peace of mind

Verdict

If you’re seeking a simple device to use that moves you away from disposables and is certainly easy enough to switch from smoking, the Arcfire from Innokin is the perfect pod kit. The flavours are fantastic from a variety of e-liquids and the pods are seriously long-lasting, maintaining the same consistency throughout. It provides a high-quality MTL draw which doesn’t drop and best of all, the design is seriously stylish but doesn’t draw huge amounts of attention to it. For a great price with a pod included, you can’t beat it in terms of value, longevity and sustainability should you wish to give up cigarettes or disposables with a smart refillable option.
